Imaging spectrographs

Hyperspectral imaging spectrographs measure the reflection, emission and absorption of electromagnetic radiation for each pixel along a line simultaneously. They provide a  unique spectral signature for every pixel in parallel on the line. The spectral information can be used to identify and discriminate materials.
